Unspoken

Silence
golden
breath beholden
to the touch
that leaves it lie
a sigh to form
instead
for more is read
within a lover’s eyes
and what is felt
would melt
a heart
could better cleave
a soul apart
believing love
as art
when seen
absorbs into
the space between
and placed
therein
will mend
the broken
heal the cleft
when left
unspoken
